About Me!
Hi there! I’m Jillian—a full‑time working mom, travel enthusiast, and unapologetic Disney lover. I recently stepped into the world of independent travel planning—not as an agent, but as someone who genuinely loves adventure, Disney, and helping families create unforgettable (and hopefully far less stressful) vacations.

I come from a proud military family. I’m the spouse of a 20‑year retired Army National Guard veteran and the aunt of a newly enlisted Army soldier. Because of that, I understand firsthand how complicated military travel can be—orders, discounts, eligibility rules, shifting promotions, and all the fine print that comes with it. While I’m here to help all travelers, I specialize in guiding military families through those unique challenges so they can enjoy the magical parts of the trip without the stress.

I’ve been fortunate enough to explore many states within the continental U.S., Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. If a destination has a rich history, it’s probably already on my wishlist. These days, though, my travels tend to lead me back to two places I adore: Las Vegas and the Disney Parks. And if you ask my husband, he’ll tell you I’m extremely obsessed with Disney… and he’s absolutely right.

While I’ll share stories from all kinds of destinations, full disclosure: most of my content revolves around Disney magic and Vegas escapes—my happy places.

A little more about me beyond the suitcase and countdowns: I grew up between Minnesota’s eastern Twin Cities area and Southern California. I’m a holiday lover through and through—though Christmas edges out Halloween by just a bit. My favorite travel buddy is our 14‑year‑old daughter, who’s always ready for the next adventure. Maybe I’ll even convince her to guest post someday.

This started as a blog as a place for me to share my own travel adventures, but it’s grown into something even more meaningful—a space where I can help others plan, prepare, and experience their own unforgettable trips. It’s my happy place to share, guide, and celebrate the joy of travel. I’m so glad you’re here, and I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do.

And when you’re ready to start planning your next vacation—whether you need help navigating military‑specific details or just want a personalized quote—I’m here to make the process as seamless and stress‑free as possible.
