This time tomorrow we will be in Disney World! Or, depending on when you’re reading this, we might still be on the plane—but either way, we’ll be out the door by 4:15 a.m. CST. Yep, bright and early!

So what does the day before we leave look like?
This year, today also includes reviewing the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party map and program. Why? Because while our flight is scheduled to land in Orlando around 11 a.m. EST, by 7 p.m. EST we’ll be joining the masses at the party! This is the first time I’ve ever done a party on arrival day. Normally, I save the most magical event of my trip for the last day, but hey—maybe this will be the start of a new tradition!
Let’s walk through the map and see what our plan of action looks like. Then, after the party, we’ll see how much we were actually able to complete!

📱 How to Find the Party Guide
Yesterday I got a notification from the app reminding me that party time is almost here. Here’s how to find the guide again:
Open the Walt Disney World App
Scroll down to Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort
Hit View Guide
Scroll down to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Tap Learn More
Now you’re at the Event Guide for Partygoers. (I’m not sure if everyone has access or only those with a linked ticket—someone let me know!)

🎶 Merry Entertainment
Here’s what’s on the lineup:
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade – runs twice each party, weather permitting.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show – a festive spin on the classic fireworks.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration – Mickey and friends keep the party hopping!
Frozen Holiday Surprise – Elsa and cast transform the castle in a dazzling show.
The Reindeer Wranglers and more live entertainment.
🎅 Character Meet & Greets
According to the app, we can expect to visit with:
Anna
Cinderella
Elsa
Flynn Rider
Jack Skellington
Mickey
Minnie
Rapunzel
…and more!
And of course, Santa himself will be there too.
💃 Dance Parties
The party isn’t complete without some dancing fun:
Disney Junior Jingle Jam
Club Tinsel
Santa’s Christmas Carnival
🍪 Seasonal Sips and Bites

One of the best parts of the party is the food! The app breaks down offerings by location, and there are so many festive treats to choose from:

🎁 Merchandise & More
Pick up your keepsake ornament.
Check out special party merchandise (the app shows images but directs you to shops).
Enjoy festive attractions like Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Monsters Laugh Floor, and the Jingle Cruise.
Don’t miss the Disney PhotoPass Service for extra‑special magic shots.
There’s even a “Plan Your Visit” section with suggested itineraries, plus the map itself to help you find all the offerings.

✨ Final Thoughts
While we obviously won’t be able to do everything in one night, there are so many options to explore—and I cannot wait to share what we end up doing!
Have you been to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year? Or are you planning to go?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
