112 Days to go!!!
Did you know that there are 3 standard levels when it comes to Disney resorts? *This doesn't include Swan & Dolphin type hotels, Villas, or unique situations within a resort (towers).

Category 1: The Value Resorts (see Value Resorts) -- These resorts typically have a lower cost associated with them, and they tend to be very thematic! So if you're looking for full Disney immersion... these are the places to be!

Category 2: The Moderate Resorts (See Moderate Resorts) -- These resorts typically have fantastic theming; however, they aren't as "Disney" orientated. For example, Port Orleans has two New Orleans-themed sections -- The French Quarter (based on the New Orleans French Quarter) and Riverside (based on Southern Louisiana Plantations). It truly feels like you are stepping into these locations, and there tends to be some cool resort-specific merchandise.

Category 3: The Deluxe Resorts. Have the price tag to go with the title of Deluxe, but certain things come with the Deluxe price tag. One - Location. The Contemporary, Polyneisia, and the Grand Floridian are on the monorail to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. While the Yacht Club, BoardWalk Inn, and the Beach Club have walking access to the International Gateway Entrance for Epcot. Two - Disney offers guests staying at Deluxe resorts free extended evening hours, which are hours after the parks have closed and most guests have headed out. And three - these resorts tend to have some of the nicer pools and have more restaurant options!
