116 days to go!!!

Today marks the official start of the Halloween Party season at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! Tonight is the first night of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! To mark this occasion, let's look at some fun Disney Halloween Facts!

·         The first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party first happened on October 31, 1995. It was a one-night event¹.

·         The cost per person for this special ticketed event was $16.95² a person… not gonna lie, inflation has hit this hard! I paid $135/ a person for the 2024 event!

·         While the event grew in size and events over the years in Magic Kingdom, Disneyland had a totally different experience. Over on the West Coast, the party had several different names and bounced between DCA (Disney’s California Adventure) and Disneyland.

·         In 2021, when they brought the parties back post-COVID, Disney hosted the After Hours Boo Bash! Keeping the magic alive!

I consider myself blessed to have been able to attend Disneyland’s last Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2018!
