🎃 47 Days to Go! Haunted Mansion Holiday Meets D23 Magic 🎄

Today we’re stepping away from Disney’s military tributes and circling back to one of my all-time favorite rides: the Haunted Mansion. And guess what? Two of my favorite Disney obsessions—Haunted Mansion Holiday and the D23 fan club—are joining forces for a spooktacular virtual event!

On October 23, 2025, D23 Gold Members are invited to attend the exclusive D23 Gold Theater presented by State Farm event:“Marking Haunted Mansion Holiday with Don Hahn.”

If you’ve ever watched how Disney transforms its parks for the holidays, you know it’s nothing short of spellbinding. From overnight makeovers to massive seasonal overlays, the magic is real—and the Haunted Mansion Holiday transformation is one of the most elaborate of them all. In just two short weeks, Jack Skellington takes over and turns this beloved classic into a Nightmare Before Christmas wonderland. 🎃🎄

👻 What to Expect from the Event

This virtual celebration will take fans behind the scenes of the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay, showcasing:

• Never-before-seen footage of the transformation process

• Insights from Disney archivists, Imagineers, and cast members

• Special guest appearances by Danny Elfman (composer of The Nightmare Before Christmas) and Henry Selick (NBC’s director!)
