❄️ 77 Days to Go!

Day 3 of Our Eerie Disney Facts Series

Okay, so I’ve mentioned my all-time favorite Disneyspiracy before—the one where Walt Disney’s body is supposedly cryogenically frozen and stored beneath Cinderella Castle. But today’s post? It’s not exactly that… though it definitely feeds off that creeptastic idea.

Here’s the theory: The internet was getting too close to uncovering Walt Disney’s frozen legacy. So what did Disney do? According to conspiracy lovers, they released Frozen—yes, the movie. The idea is that by flooding the internet with Elsa and Anna content, it became nearly impossible to Google “Disney” + “Frozen” and find anything about cryogenics. Sneaky, right?

Photo Credit: 🧊 Elsa’s story is actually “The Snow Queen.” That’s the name you’ll find in most literary versions. Changing it to Frozen? A perfect way to bury the cryogenic trail.

Let’s break down why some folks think this is one of Disney’s biggest cover-ups:

  1. 🧊 Elsa’s story is actually “The Snow Queen.” That’s the name you’ll find in most literary versions. Changing it to Frozen? A perfect way to bury the cryogenic trail.

  2. 🔍 Before the movie, searching “Disney Frozen” supposedly pulled up images of Walt’s frozen head. I missed that window, but… yikes.

  3. 🧪 In 2021, a deepfake photo went viral. It claimed: “55 Years After His Death, Walt Disney’s Frozen Body Will Be Thawed December 2021 In An Attempt To Bring Him Back To Life.”The article even referenced a real company—Cryonics Institute. And when asked, their president, Dennis Kowalski, told The Sun:

“We have heard of this rumor as well, and we confirm that it’s not true.”

So, is Walt Disney really frozen under one of the castles? Did Frozen bury the truth with a catchy soundtrack and sparkly snowflakes? Or is this just another fun rabbit hole for Disney fans to tumble down?

Either way, it’s one of my favorite eerie theories—and I’ll definitely be humming Let It Go with a side-eye next time I walk past Cinderella Castle.

What do you think? Frozen cover-up or frosty fiction? Drop your thoughts below!
