While my countdown may be for Disney World, Disney's history is so much more than just one park, coast, or even one person! March 3, 1995 — a legendary day for Disneyland fans! That’s when the beloved Indiana Jones Adventure made its thrilling debut. What starts as a seemingly tame jungle expedition quickly spirals into a perilous journey through the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, complete with cursed artifacts, booby traps, and one very cranky deity.

While the ride has earned a reputation as the “Most Likely to Be Down,” it’s also packed with clever Easter eggs for die-hard Disney fans. One of my personal favorites? The elusive Eeyore parking sign.

Now, this one’s a bit tricky to spot—and even trickier to appreciate without a little backstory.

When Imagineers were deciding where to build the ride, they had to get creative with space. Disney is famous for using forced perspective and winding queues to tuck attractions into places that are technically outside the park boundaries. But even magic needs real estate.

So, the Indiana Jones ride ended up taking over part of the old Disneyland parking lot—specifically, the Eeyore section. (Insert a heartfelt “Oh, bother.”)

To honor Eeyore’s sacrifice, Imagineers tucked a little tribute into the queue. When you reach the projection room, turn around and look toward the projector. Just above it, you’ll spot an original Eeyore parking sign, quietly hanging out like he always does—reminding longtime fans of what once was.
